Our Sanctuary
The Frontier Animal Society is both a shelter and a sanctuary. Although our goal is to place as many of our animals as possible into loving, forever homes, we are realistic and know that some of our dogs and cats will likely live out their remaining years in our care. So, while our shelter provides a safe and caring environment for our adoptable dogs and cats while they await their forever home, our sanctuary provides long term care for those animals that, due to their age or behavioural issues are very likely to remain with us for the remainder of their lives.
In fact, some of our seniors would probably have a difficult time adjusting to a new environment and routine so for these special souls, we offer a place to call home where they are loved and well cared for and never again feel the pain of abuse, neglect or abandonment. In the near future we will be posting more photos of some of the dogs that live in our sanctuary. We will also be starting a symbolic adoption program for these dogs. Your sponsorship will help ensure these seniors have everything they need to stay happy and healthy.
